A smarter way forward.
seecure sense — one smart instrument. Three seamless solutions.
Surgeons want precision, patients want safety, hospitals want efficiency.
Until now, every option came with trade-offs.
seecure sense is a smart instrument that supports Freehand or complements CAS systems for pedicle screw placement—delivering advanced predictive safety, lower radiation, and faster workflows across all generations..
2027
fully disposable standalone system
2028
connected or integrated
2029
connected or integrated
GEN1 (2027) is a fully disposable standalone system, while GEN2 (2028) and GEN3 (2029) become semi-reusable, connected or integrated—making this safety increasingly affordable and accessible to every OR.
Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS)
At the core of seecure sense is Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS) — a proven optical technology. It works by sending a tiny pulse of safe light into tissue. The light bounces back differently depending on whether it hits spongy cancellous bone (high fat content) or hard cortical bone (high collagen content).
These reflected “signatures” are analyzed in real time, giving the surgeon an immediate readout of exactly where the instrument tip is—from safe cancellous zones through warning pre-cortical zones to dangerous cortical boundaries and potential breaches.
Why this matters
- seecure sense is the only system that gives surgeons “2 mm of vision beyond the tip.”
- This unique look-ahead distance combines tissue-level sensing accuracy with advance warning, so the surgeon knows not only where they are but also what lies ahead. The result is predictive safety — real foresight that helps avoid breaches and protect nerves, vessels, and the canal.
Built for the OR
- Clear and Intuitive: Gentle tones, haptics, and green/amber/red visuals keep both surgeon and OR team aligned in real time.
- Radiation-Free Accuracy: Confidence from tissue sensing, not repeated imaging shots.
- Universal Affordable Utility: Seamlessly enhances freehand, as well as complements navigation, and robotic workflows—usable in any OR situation, at any time.

Real-world advantages that matter in every OR
- Combines tissue-level sensing and look-ahead distance to give surgeons real-time foresight before breach
- Malalignment drives time and cost for revisions
- CAS systems don’t sense tissue and predict last 2mm
- sense reduces errors, unlocking safer, scalable outcomes
Radiation burden
- Spine surgery exposes surgical teams to dangerous radiation through frequent X-rays and CT scans
- Navigation systems still require harmful intraoperative imaging despite radiation reduction claims
- seecure sense tissue-level accuracy—minimizes the number of imaging shots needed
Workflow efficiency
- AR, navigation, and robotic systems require time-consuming calibration and registration
- Complex setup processes create delays and workflow disruptions in the OR
- seecure sense is instantly ready with no setup time—just immediate, intelligent feedback
Who we empower
seecure sense provides a bridge — giving surgeons the confidence, autonomy, andefficiency they need.
Alex — Senior Resident
“I’m still gaining confidence in complex cases, but seecure sense gives me options — I can use it in standalone mode, or track and share performance data that helps me improve.”
seecure sense:
- Ensures accuracy and safety in every case
- Works standalone or connected
- Builds confidence in complex procedures
- Safety
- Performance
Emma — Fellow
“The reduction in radiation is better for me, my team, and my patient — and without extra imaging delays, we can focus entirely on precision and outcomes.”
seecure sense:
- Fewer fluoroscopy shots per screw
- No 3D scan or registration delays
- Continuous workflow without imaging stops
- Safety
- Workflow
John — Head of Spine
“I see seecure sense as the perfect complement — it fills the gaps where navigation and robotics fall short, and it gives me the last 2 mm confidence my CAS system alone can’t provide.”
seecure sense:
- Fills navigation/robotics blind spots
- Provides last-2 mm tissue-level assurance
- Integrates seamlessly into my workflow
- Safety
- Autonomy
Universal smartness, predictive precision – 3 flexible solutions for every OR
Standalone (GEN1)
Complete, independent instrument for precise and safe pedicle screw placement. Ideal for, ORs in emerging markets, or ASCs or hospitals without advanced OR infrastructure.
Connected (GEN2)
Seamlessly plugs into OR surgical ecosystems and digital platforms, supporting workflow integration, data capture, and benchmarking / training capabilities.
Integrated (GEN3)
Embeds into navigation and robotic platforms to give them what they currently lack —predictive safety – tissue level accuracy for 2 mm confirmation. The robot plans, seecure validates.

The OR reality
Even in hospitals with robots, up to 30% of cases are still performed freehand
- Osteoporotic patients
- Trauma & revisions
- After-hours / night surgery
- Lower-complexity lists where workflow speed matters
Roughly 25-30% of fusion cases in modern hospitals are still performed freehand.
Bridging the gap
That’s where seecure sense™ fills the gap — ensuring no compromise on safety, precision, or workflow.
When robots aren't viable, precision doesn't stop.
seecure sense maintains surgical precision in ASCs, trauma cases, and emergencies where robotics isn’t available.
